Accessibility statement
Public institutions are obligated to be accessible, and the software they use should not make that harder. This is what we hold ourselves to and where we currently stand.
Commitments
Across this website and CivicDirect products we treat the following as build requirements: full keyboard operability, visible focus indicators, sufficient colour contrast, meaningful text alternatives, semantic structure and headings, and respect for reduced-motion preferences.
Current status
No formal WCAG conformance audit has been completed. We do not claim conformance to any level, and we do not publish a VPAT we have not earned. Accessibility here is an engineering commitment being met continuously, not a certified result.
